KATHRYN
Kathryn is the accomplished floral designer and owner of York Flower Art, having developed her expertise in floral design since 2009 and officially establishing YFA in 2017. Through her extensive travels around the world, Kathryn has cultivated a diverse range of influences and styles, which she adeptly incorporates into her designs. Her versatility is evident, as she predominantly employs seasonal blooms and artfully combines various textures and natural elements. Her work harmonizes form and function while adhering to environmentally conscious practices. Kathryn's affinity for the beach is reflected in many of her floral arrangements, which exhibit modern elegance infused with tropical and coastal elements. In addition to her floral artistry, Kathryn is also a skilled artist specializing in mixed media glass assemblages. These distinctive creations feature preserved flowers and shells, complemented by vibrant inspirations drawn from the South Pacific. Her artistic works are displayed in her shop. Kathryn has received numerous accolades for her contributions to floral design, gardening, and photography. Notably, she was recognized at the esteemed 2024 & 2025 Philadelphia Flower Show, demonstrating her exceptional talent and commitment to her craft. |
